International Seminar
“2nd International Seminar by Maiti India” was a highly informative and insightful event, which provided a platform for experts from diverse backgrounds to share their knowledge and experiences related to the complex issue of human trafficking and safe migration. The seminar highlighted the urgent need for increased awareness, collaboration, and preventive measures to address this critical issue. The speeches and presentations by the distinguished guests, including SMT. Rekha Sharma, Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Chhaya Sharma, Veerendra Mishra, and others, emphasized the importance of cross-border cooperation, strengthening of law enforcement measures, and addressing the root causes of human
trafficking through employment generation and education. The seminar also proposed practical solutions, such as the establishment of shelter homes, training programs for law enforcement officials, and awareness campaigns in rural areas. Overall, the seminar was a significant step towards combating human trafficking and ensuring a better future for vulnerable populations and we hope to inspire more organizations and individuals to join the fight against human trafficking.

Maiti India has given women the opportunities to be self-sufficient by providing them with various part time works. Maiti India has provided free wool to the targeted population so that women can makehand-wovenwinter clothing such as sweaters, mufflers, scarves, socks, and so on, which will then be sold to generate income
